A: 10 - 14 days

A : £2,000 double room & £1,000 single room (If you have a spare reception room why not make use of a sofa bed to accommodate more visitors)

A: Yes - some people from the US are asking for accommodation offering bed and breakfast, although the majority are only looking to rent the property

04 - Q: What is the maximum distance from the Celtic Mannor Resort people are looking to rent?
A: About 1 hours drive to the venue

5 - Q: Do you need to supply transport to and from the venue? A: No

6 - Q: Do i need to alter my insurance policy?
A: Please inform your insurer that you will be renting your property out to strangers so they can make any necessary amendments to your policy during their stay.

A: This accomodation company was set up by Alix Popham, current Welsh Rugby International in 2006 purely focussed on sourcing quality accomodation for the RyderCup 2010 and other major sporting packages and events.

9 - Q: How long will my house be listed?
A: All properties still available to rent will be listed until the start of the event

10 - Q: What is the Ryder Cup?
A: A golf tournament in which every two years the top American and European golfers meet at venues alternating between the two continents

11 - Q: Where is Ryder Cup 2010 taking place?
A: The Ryder Cup will take place at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, South Wales

12 - Q: What does that mean to Welsh homeowners?
A: Due to the exceptionally large numbers of people travelling to the event, there will be a shortfall of Hotel
and B&B accommodation during the event. Many homeowners have the opportunity to rent out their homes for either 1-2 weeks

A: We believe any property within 1 hours drive has good potential. But this is not an exact science,  so it is at the discretion of the homeowner

A : We are currently compiling a list of properties that will fit our clients high expectations. Our clients will come from the United States and cities from throughout Europe. If an agreement is reached between the homeowner and the golf visitor, we will facilitate the relationship.

18 - Q: Do you guarantee to rent my property?
A: We will certainly endeavor to find a match for your property over the coming years, but we cannot make any guarantees

19 - Q: What legal documentation do I need when renting my house?
A: A short term rental agreement will ideally be used.

20 - Q: What about Tax & Insurance?
A: Well, there is a tax implication. You must declare your earnings to the Inland Revenue. Also, we would strongly advise you upgrade your insurance to cover paying guests and public liability cover. Contact your insurance company for exact advice and pricing
